12.06.2011 w ramach Sopot Fashion Days odbyła się polska premiera kolekcji Wiosna /Lato zatytułowanej "Solidarnosć".
Polish premiere of the S/S "Solidarity" collection held on the 12th of June, at Sopot Fashion Days. The collection was inspired by the "Solidarity" movement, that gave freedom to Poland and all Eastern European countries.
W swojej kolekcji ready-to-wear Minge umiejętnie miesza naturalne materiały w kolorach pustyni i rdzawego brązu. Świetnie zaprojektowane detale uzupełniają całość.
In this ready-to-wear line Minge uses natural fabrics in colours such as beige and rusty brown. The attention to detail(for example sunglasses below) is the key to success of this collection.
Projektantka jest niestety bardziej znana w kraju z nieudanych wystąpień publicznych i egzotycznego wyglądu, niż z samych kreacji.
Polish deisgner is unfortunately better known in her country for failed public apperances, and exotic look rather than her work.
Inspiracja Solidarnością nie jest dla mnie jednak do końca czytelna (beże-wolność?), na szczęście bronią jej nadruki "Solidarity comes fashion".
Her inspiration is however not understandable for me (freedom-beiges?), thoughtfully she applied the "Solidarity comes fashion" messages on her garments to make all it clear.
Wizjonerska i artystyczna czy nie, myślę że Eva Minge pokazała tą kolekcją, że bez wątpliwości jest projektantką światowej klasy.
Visionary and artistic or not, I really enjoyed the collection and I believe she proved she really is a world class designer.
